Fenced Playground at Ross Street Reserve
Ross Street Reserve has a small fenced playground for infants and pre-schoolers, on the corner of Ross Street and Minogue Crescent in Forest Lodge. The children's area has a large tube slide, a smaller slide and swings. The play area has rubber softfall, natural shade and sunny spots, and the fence and gates were upgraded when the playground was rebuilt in 2020.
Seating and Drinking Water at Ross Street Reserve
Ross Street Reserve has seating beside the playground, added in the 2020 upgrade, so carers can sit and watch children on the equipment. A new bubbler, or drinking fountain, was installed as part of the same works, giving the playground a water point. Furniture in the park was upgraded in the same works, and the footpaths around the play area were upgraded too.
