NearMe is a read-only directory. You do not need to create an account or log in to use the site. We collect:

• Analytics data — page views, session duration, and general geographic location (country/city level) via Google Analytics 4. This data is anonymised and aggregated. No individual users are tracked.
• Server logs — standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for up to 30 days for security and performance purposes.
• Contact form submissions — if you email us at hello@nearme.com.au, we retain your email address and message to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies to distinguish users and sessions. These cookies do not identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:

• Vercel — website hosting (vercel.com)
• Supabase — database hosting (supabase.com) — park data only, no user data
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics
• OpenStreetMap — map and location data (openstreetmap.org)

Under Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you.
