Outdoor Fitness Equipment at Lyons Road Reserve
Lyons Road Reserve has new outdoor fitness equipment, installed during the City of Sydney upgrade that ran from August 2022 to March 2023. The equipment is the park's main fitness facility, set out alongside the open turf the same upgrade laid across the park. Visitors can use the outdoor fitness equipment as part of a walk along the park's new central path.

Lyons Road Reserve has a new central path linking Lyons Road to Lambert Street, and the footpaths on both streets were widened during the same works. The park has new seating along its paths and a bubbler with a dog bowl for pets. New bins, drainage improvements and new trees and plants complete the upgrade. An area is set aside for a future community garden.
