Boronia Park

Boronia Park is a 24-hectare waterfront parkland in Hunters Hill, with a BMX track, sports fields, netball and pickleball courts, and bushwalking trails. It is the largest area of open space in Hunters Hill and includes an off-leash dog area in its southern section.

BMX Track at Boronia Park

Boronia Park has a BMX track that winds at many angles and includes numerous jumps and trick locations. The track has a steep wooden jump, a high jump and several corners, and a hill beside it gives spectators a place to stand. The BMX track sits next to bushland at Boronia Park, and a rules sign stands beside the starting line. The grassed area around the track is open to visitors who come to watch or ride.

Sports Fields and Courts at Boronia Park

Boronia Park South has three ovals, and Oval 1 has a turf cricket pitch with a cricket net. Courts 1 and 2 at Boronia Park are marked for netball and pickleball, and Court 3 is marked for pickleball and reserved for community recreational use. Boronia Park also has a basketball and netball court, multi-purpose courts and flood lights. The Hunters Hill Rugby Club, established in 1892, is based at Boronia Park.

Boronia Park North has tree-shaded grass areas, a playground and a practice basketball hoop. Boronia Park South has its own playground, with BBQs and picnic tables set beside it, along with harbour views from the sports area. The grassed areas under the trees at Boronia Park North suit a shaded rest between games or rides.
