About Lynelle Park
Pirate-Themed Playground at Lynelle Park
Lynelle Park has a pirate-themed playground that City of Ryde upgraded and reopened in December 2017. The main play unit is a ship, with a ship mast and lookout, a slide, a rocker and swings. A second play area has a crow's nest and a spinning wheel. Sandstone blocks give children places to climb and informal play areas to use. Lynelle Park is not fenced, and mature trees at the back of the park give shade at certain times of day.
Scooter and Bike Track at Lynelle Park
Lynelle Park has a scooter and bike track that circles both play areas, so children can ride from one to the other. A new entry and loop path also connects the play areas across the park. Walking paths run through the park under the trees, and the park includes a kick-about space. The loop path and the track are both part of the same connected layout across the park.
