About Finian Reserve
Basketball Hoop at Finian Reserve
Finian Reserve has a basketball hoop, making it the park's main sports feature for informal play. The hoop gives local players a place to practise shooting in a quiet neighbourhood setting on Finian Avenue. Its single hoop suits casual shooting rather than organised team games. Visitors can use the hoop alongside the reserve's benches and shaded areas, which makes the park a simple option for a short session of basketball close to home.
Benches and Shaded Rest Areas at Finian Reserve
Finian Reserve has benches for sitting, giving visitors a place to rest while spending time outdoors. Shaded areas within the reserve provide relief from the sun, which makes the seating more comfortable on warm days. The grassy open space around these benches offers a relaxed setting for taking a break. Because a quiet cul-de-sac sits next to the reserve, the park stays low-key and suits a calm pause rather than a busy day out.
