About Lionel Watts Park
Sports Fields, Courts and Cricket Practice at Lionel Watts Park
Lionel Watts Park has one new synthetic sportsfield and upgraded grassed playing fields. Lionel Watts Park has five lit hard-surface netball courts, one multi-use basketball court and an enclosed cricket practice facility with five lanes. Lionel Watts Park has lighting on all of its sportsgrounds, and the outdated lights on Field 1 were due to be replaced with 12 energy-efficient LED floodlights in early 2026, funded by $40,000 from the NSW Rugby League and $50,000 from Council. The sportsgrounds host cricket, football, AFL, touch football, rugby league and athletics. Council chose the site for its upgrade because it is the most intensively used sportsfield in the area over the calendar year.
Playground and Skate Park at Lionel Watts Park
