About Londonderry Park
Expanded Playspace at Londonderry Park
Londonderry Park has an expanded playspace with equipment for all ages. The play equipment includes a double-bay swing set, a multi-level play tower, an inclusive rocker, a multi-user spinner and a boulder climbing feature for older children. A junior play unit with water play elements sits in the same area for younger children. The playspace has partial fencing, and it was moved closer to the tennis courts during the upgrade.
Resurfaced Tennis Courts at Londonderry Park
Londonderry Park has tennis courts that were resurfaced and given new fencing during the upgrade. The courts sit close to the new playspace, so a family can play tennis and let children use the play equipment in the same visit. The park also has an established tree canopy, which gives shade along its edges. The tennis courts are one of the park's sports facilities.
Shelter, Shade and Paths at Londonderry Park
Londonderry Park has a new picnic shelter, a new shade sail and new seating. Accessible pathways run throughout the park, linking the playspace, the courts and the shelter. A new drinking fountain sits in the park, and Dalmarri Indigenous artwork is reflected throughout the grounds. The picnic shelter and the seating give families a covered place to stop between play and the courts, and the shade sail adds cover over the grounds on warmer days. The upgrade was unveiled in May 2026, so these pieces are all new.
