About Jensen Park
Soccer Field and Grandstands at Jensen Park
Jensen Park has one soccer field with an artificial turf surface, installed under a $2.5 million council upgrade approved in 2018 and completed in early 2019. Before that upgrade the ground was grass, and it opened as a football ground in 1960. Jensen Park has lights suitable for night matches, so games can be played after dark. Spectator seating was added in the 2019 upgrade, and Jensen Park has two main grandstands for crowds. Bankstown City FC uses the ground as its home venue.
Cricket Pitch at Jensen Park
Jensen Park has a turf cricket pitch on the site. Cricket has been played on this site since at least the early 1950s, before the ground was rebuilt as a football venue. The junior Regents Parks Soccer Club also used the site before the rebuild.
